Friday, November 29th
Dig out your Christmas cards and address books because all of the students in Grades K-6 are planning a special “Writing Day” on Friday, November 29th! You are invited to join your child in writing to friends and relatives for the holiday season. We’ll supply writing paper and envelopes. Stamps and Christmas cards will be on sale. We encourage you to bring along any family members or friends so that every student has someone to write with them. Wear your PJs to help get into the cozy winter holiday spirit!
- We will start at 9:10 a.m. on November 29th. Students and their families will have the option of writing in the gym or their classrooms.
- Every child needs to have their own address information for the day. (K and Gr. 1 students should bring pre-addressed envelopes if a parent cannot attend.)
- For those of you who do not celebrate Christmas we encourage you to have your children write family letters.
- We will be accepting letters to Santa. There is no cost to send Santa a letter. Santa’s address is: Student Name, Teacher name, Santa Claus, North Pole, H0H 0H0
- Cost of Stamps is Canada $1, USA $1.20 and International $2.50. Christmas Cards can be purchased at $.25 for small and $.50 for large.
