Spirit Day – Wear Polka dots

Monday is Polka dots Day.  Wear any polka dots you have.

Lockdown Drill

There will be a lockdown drill on Monday at 2:50 pm.

Multicultural Days

Thank you to all parents/guardians, staff and students for making the celebration of diversity at our school such a success.

A Book for Every Child

March’s Book for Every Child program is for the students of Ms Pender and Mme. Farstad. The students will get their books on Monday.

Reading Link Challenge

Congratulations to the NBA Elephants team with students from Mme. Garlock and Mme. Paquette’s classes!  They took first place in the SQE Reading Link Challenge and will be competing against other teams in the District on March 11th at 6:30pm at the Eagle Eye Theatre.  Good luck!

Used Book Sale

Don’t forget, there is a used book sale next week.  All books will be no more than $2.

Gr. 5/6 Business Day

Business Day is next Thursday March 12th from 1-3 pm in the gym. Bring some money to support our grade 5 and 6 young entrepreneurs. You can expect to see, jewelry, healthy treats, slime, origami, scrunchies, games, face paint and much more. All proceeds will go to the end of year Evans Lake camping trip.

Hunter Place Connector Trail

The District of Squamish has finished work on the Hunter Place Connector Trail which forms a crucial link between Pemberton Avenue and Hunter Place. This trail is also part of the L’Ecole Squamish Elementary Active and Safe Routes to School project and helps make it easier to travel safely on foot or by bike.

Kindergarteners at the Back

The Kindergarten students will be allowed to play in the back of the school after Spring Break.


Students are reminded that they can be in the forest only with adult supervision.  They are not allowed to be in the forest at recess or lunch.

Do Not Block Doorway

A reminder to students that the front doors should not be blocked.  Please do not stand by the doors or the steps in the morning, recess or lunch.
