Literacy Week (Jan. 22nd – 26th)

Literacy week is a great opportunity for our school and community to promote literacy and foster a life-long love of reading in our students.  We will kick off with an assembly to explain the events of the week to the students, have a short song/skit, a book draw, and a video. Throughout the week students will take part in a school-wide Drop Everything And Read (D.E.A.R.), engage in literacy activities and be visited by guest readers! We will end Literacy Week with our first clan grouping! Student will meet their new clan members and partake in some buddy reading.

Please take a Gallery Walk of our school hallways to see our school-wide Literacy displays that will be up by Jan. 26th!

Festival du Livre

The French book fair is scheduled Feb 5th – 8th to accompany school-wide Carnaval de Quebec celebrations.  There will be a small selection of English books available to purchase as well.  More information to come soon!

If you would like to sign on to our library link to see what books you have read or are currently signed out with the library,  students will need to know their user name and password to continue:
