French Immersion Information:
Registration for Early French Immersion remains on-going (K/1) for Squamish and Garibaldi Highlands Elementary Schools.
Registration for Grade 5 French Immersion will take place starting Friday February 21st at 8:00 am. Parent Information Meeting: Tuesday, Feb. 11th at 7 pm in ourschool library. Registration forms are available under FORMS.

Mrs. Yates had a baby boy on Sunday, Jan. 5th: Graham Thomas Yates, 6 lb., 12 oz.! Welcome Mrs. Hadfield and Mrs. Binning who will teach the kindies for the remainder of the school year.

What a week we have had! Christmas concerts, celebrations, letters from Santa, a raffle and a dance. The Because I am a Girl Club raised over $80 to support girls in developing countries. The Student Leadership group raised over $200 for the people of the Phillipines. And our students and staff donated several shopping carts full of items for Community Christmas Care. Thank you, everyone! It was also Mrs. Yates’ last week as she is going on maternity leave. Mrs. Lindsey Hadfield and Mrs. Ashley Binning will be teaching her class for the rest of the school year.

Monday, December 16th: Grade 4/5 Band Concert at 6 pm; Grade 6/7 Band Concert at 7 pm. Because I Am A Girl Raffle – tickets $2 each, 3 for $5 – boy and girl themes gift baskets. Draw on Friday. Proceeds to help girls in developing countries.
Tuesday, December 17th: Book-to-Movie Club after school in the library; Mr. and Mrs. Parker’s classes Cross Country Skiing.
Wednesday, December 18th: Primary Cancert at 6:30 pm
Thursday, December 19th: Noon Hour Dance – all ages, $2 admission. Proceeds to the Phillipines Disaster relief. Bring your best dance moves!
Friday, December 20th: Last day before the holidays. Running Club at lunch! Run 1 km (2 laps) and get a candy cane!
